I have been a photographer for more than 20 years, and love the medium for capturing unique moments and concepts. In a way photography led me to filmmaking.
I find that photography is a wonderful tool as a filmmaker. It helps me to think about framing in new and interesting ways and reminds me that sometimes stillness delivers a message better than movement. As a video editor, my love of multiple-exposure photography has inspired me to look beyond the lens and explore the same technique with motion.
